Too many credit cards?

I am using three credit cards and just recently I am having trouble in paying. I have lost my job because of the current meltdown in housing. It is truly difficult to accept that the job I was is gone.

Today, I don’t have enough money for my credit cards. I could no longer pay. I am in debt and I need credit counseling. How should I get out of this?
